Hey Guys, it's Ileane from Basic Blog Tips dot com and today I want to show you how to install a font on your computer.

Now before we get started I want to give you a little bit of background. First of
all, I'm using Photoshop Elements Version 8. Our friend Andy Bailey from CommentLuv has given us some graphics to use for designing headers for your blog or website. And I'm actually going to use these headers for some of my Powerpoint presentations.

Here's one I want to use when I open the file I get a warning and it tells me
that some of the fonts are missing.
So I say "okay" and I found out that the font that was missing is called "Another Typewriter". And I found that out because I tried to change that text and that's when I got that little warning message.

So here's the website that I'm going to get the font from and I know that this is a trusted website. Well first of all because Andy told us that we could download the fonts from this website and - uh - just be careful when you're downloading fonts make sure that you're downloading from a trusted site and should be running some type of anti-virus software on your computer anyway.

So I'm going to download the font. Then I'll click on it it open it up and - see I have Norton 360 that's why you see that little "shield" there. I install the font.
Okay let's go back to open it back up again and notice I didn't get the warning this time because the font is there. So let me hover over here and you'll see on the list here now I have this font called "Another Typewriter."

Well I hope you found that tutorial useful and if you got a minute while you're over on YouTube don't forget to subscribe to my channel and you'll see that little annotation pop- up. Click that on and you can subscribe make sure you subscribe by email too!

That's it for today, I'll talk to you soon.
Peace
